Los eCombustibles se producen combinando hidrógeno verde y CO2 reciclado, obteniendo eMetanol que luego se convierte en eGasolina, eSAF u otros combustibles sintéticos. La instalación de Haru Oni funciona actualmente con CO2 biogénico e hidrógeno producido con los fuertes vientos de la región de Magallanes. El prototipo DAC viene a ser una solución complementaria, filtrando directamente del aire hasta 600 toneladas de dióxido de carbono al año.

A principios de este año, HIF Global anunció un acuerdo complementario con Baker Hughes para probar sus unidades piloto de tecnología Mosaic DAC con el fin de acelerar el despliegue de DAC a escala comercial.
